Education

PhD Candidate in Communication Sciences at Universidad Nebrija, Master’s Degree in Information Society and Knowledge in UOC, but in 2000 I finished my studies in Computer’s Science Engineering at Universidad Nebrija in Madrid – Spain.

Beyond that I have finished different certifications in the telecommunications provider Cisco Systems: CCIE R&S 350-001 theoretical exam, CCNP,CCDA, CCNA, CSE  (Cisco Sales Expert), SMB Specialization for Engineers, CXFF, CXFS, CXFA, and CCAI (Instructor). All certifications still active.

Professional Experience

Here you have my professional development profile, currently my job is a Network Manager at Acens Technologies, Alcobendas – Madrid. Previously I worked at companies such as Lucent Technologies, Jazztel, Capgemini in the UK or as an associate professor at Universidad Nebrija.

Books

Also, I have published three books: first called  Fundamentos de Routing, which I review the most commonly used routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS and BGP, the second one is called Artículos a un Click and although it has nothing to do with telecommunications it is a book I did as a compilation of opinion pieces published between 2009 and 2010. Over last year, and following my research for the Master of Information Society and Knowledge I published El microblogging en el periodismo español: Relaciones de los directores de medios en Twitter, in this book I reviewed the behavior of 20 directors of Spanish media at Twitter.
